We have initiated contact with the U.S. Government concerning claims by contractors in Afghanistan against the U.S. Government, NATO, the Taliban and others. We are also providing counsel on Office of Foreign Assets Controls questions concerning doing business with the Taliban and others in the region.

We coordinate engagements with our international and local partners who specialize in a wide array of legal disciplines, such as tax, corporate and commercial law, litigation and risk mitigation. GLS provides expert advice, to our clients around the globe, with the goal of achieving positive outcomes and developing creative solutions to their personal and business matters.
Prospective clients meet with one or more highly experienced American lawyers (senior partner level) for an initial consultation (at no charge). We then assemble the team (often cross-disciplinary) tailored to meet the client’s requirements, with a lead counsel who will be the single touchpoint and enduring link for the client. GLS can also employ its cross-disciplinary team to address specific legal and technical aspects of a particular case.
The team will conduct a “Client-Needs Assessment” culminating in a proposal (engagement letter) setting forth a plan of action and costing options for your specific case.
We maintain continuous communication with you, the client, and are always accessible, ensuring timely delivery and follow-through.
